In a significant extension of customer care, Lexus offers up to 10-year trials of their Safety Connect and Service Connect features on all Lexus Interface-equipped vehicles. These comprehensive service offerings, which include 24-hour emergency assistance, enhanced roadside assistance, automatic collision notification, and a stolen vehicle locator, emphasize Lexus' dedication to driving safety and superior guest care.

 

The Service Connect package works to bridge the gap between the Lexus vehicle and the dealer by providing warning light notifications and vehicle health reports. These features ensure drivers are always aware of their vehicle's condition, enabling efficient scheduling for necessary repairs or maintenance.

 

Aimed at creating a safer driving environment, Safety Connect features an Emergency Assistance button (SOS) which connects the driver to a 24-hour response center. In urgent situations, the vehicle's inbuilt GPS technology helps the response center agent to send emergency services directly to the vehicle's location. The Enhanced Roadside Assistance also utilizes GPS to deliver warranty-based service more conveniently.

 

The Automatic Collision Notification alerts the response center in the event of severe collisions or airbag deployment, ensuring the rapid dispatch of emergency services to the scene. Additionally, in case of vehicle theft, once a police report is filed, the Safety Connect response center collaborates with law enforcement agencies to track and recover the stolen vehicle using embedded cellular and GPS technology.

 

On the Service Connect front, the Vehicle Health Report delivers vital information about open recalls or service campaigns, key fob battery status, and engine oil quantity among other details. Vehicle Alerts notifications, triggered by malfunction-related events, are sent to both the customer and their Lexus dealer for timely and accurate repairs.

 

Drivers can manage the Lexus Interface Connected services through the Lexus app, available for iPhone and Android smartphones. These connected services, depending on a 4G network, will be available with up to a 10-year trial for all Lexus Interface-equipped vehicles, a testament to Lexus’ continuous commitment to enhancing the driving experience while offering added peace of mind.
